Board Guidelines
Registration:
- This forum complies with the US COPPA laws and requires children under the age of 13 to get parental consent before they can post. Registering under false information to by pass the COPPA laws may be ground for user name deletion.

General Board Rules:
- The only Language spoken and written here is English! Although we acknowledge people from all parts of the world, we are an English only board and there are no exceptions.
- Treat everyone with respect, no matter the circumstances. Report all rule breaks, that's why it's there.
- Flaming and spamming of the forums is strictly prohibited.
- Stay on the thread topic, whether it be as fucked up as it is.
- Warez Legacy has a zero tolerance for Racism, we have people from all parts of the world. Whether you like a specific culture or not, keep it to you're self!
Thread Rules:
- You must define a thread icon for the specific share you are sharing. If there is no icon for the file host you are posting, use the n/a icon.
- Do NOT post thread titles in all caps, please post reasonable thread titles and keep it to the point.
- Do NOT post thread tags, use the thread icons instead, there are no exceptions!
- Do NOT double post a thread you already posted, make sure you search to make sure you haven't already posted the thread.
- Do NOT make a thread and ask why a member or member(s) were suspended/banned. They are suspended/banned for a reason.
- Do NOT make a thread solely to complain about the behavior of forum participants or content. In doing so, you are only creating another pointless thread. If you have an issue with someone, please message him or her and resolve it there, contact a moderator, or report the posts in question for staff review.
Posting Rules:
- Absolutely NO advertising on these boards, we don't care about you're warez board. Instead please first private message Hitman or Airborne for permission or link exchange.
- Do NOT hotlink images from the original source, ie. the purchase page or manufactures website. Instead, Warez Legacy suggests uploading your images to Tinypic or a related source.
- Absolutely NO URL masking, URL Cash, URL Captcha links etc. You MUST post the direct links.
- Do NOT post passwords if they aren't required as this will fall under the advertisement rule.
- NO posting of referral links ie. Rapidshare, Hot-File, DepositeFiles etc..
- Do NOT post dead links, always make sure you check you're links before you post them.
- Always make sure you use the [code] tags around you're links, including passwords!
- When posting movies, make sure you include a link to IMDB or a related source for more information.
- When posting games, make sure you include a link to GameSpot or a related source for more information.
- Make sure you post as much information as you can for a share, the more information the better!
- Do NOT reply to a thread just to trash the person(s) because of there spelling, hair color, attitude, language, etc. If you find a post or thread that you find subject able then please report it via the "report" button.
Requesting Rules:
- You must have a minimum of at least 10 posts to request anything.
- Search before opening a topic to request anything.
- Make sure you give as much information as you possibly can, the more information the better chance of finding it.
- Make sure you label the host of which you would like it uploaded to. If the file host isn't defined, use the n/a and define it somewhere in the post (not the thread title!).
- If you're thread has been filled, edit the title with the prefix on the front as [FILLED].
Porn Rules:
- Absolutely NO posts of underage porn! Child porn is taken very seriously and will result in a permanent ban as well as the authorities contacted. Don't bother hiding you're IP address, we will find you.
- NO shemale, transvestite, gay or bestiality videos and or pictures.
- Rape videos, movies, pictures and ebooks are alright as long as it's consensual. You know right from wrong, don't be stupid.
- The porn section is for 18 year old's and until you turn 18 we suggest you not look in there!
- We suggest uploading all images to ImageVenue as we think they are the best as far as porn.

Hacking Rules:
- Warez Legacy does NOT condone hacking, but rather a section used for reference, testing and patching purposes only!
- Warez Legacy cannot and will NOT be help liable nor responsible for you're actions. If you don't know what you're doing, don't do it!
- Do NOT post Credit Cards, PayPal Accounts, Bank Accounts, Social Security numbers or any type of personal identification. You will be permanently banned!
Member Accounts and Disciplinary System:
- Each member is limited to one account/alias, unless otherwise authorized by an administrator. If you want you're name changed, change it in your User Control Panel.
- Do NOT impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself. An account created at this forum is for the use of the person registering it and no one else.
- Shared accounts available at places such as bugmenot will be removed upon discovery.
- If your account has been suspended, do NOT re-register under another alias for the duration of your suspension, doing so will warrant the removal of the duplicate account and the permanent ban of your original account.
- Banning is a LAST resort. We will not ban a member until all other efforts to resolve a problem with a member have failed. We reserve the right to ban any member at any time without reason or prior notice.
- If a user has been banned and continues to disregard the forum rules, relevant information from the forums logs will be retrieved, their ISP will be contacted and appropriate steps will be taken to resolve the issue.
- Back seat administrating or moderating is strictly prohibited, we are very capable of running the site. If you find someone breaking the rules, report it!
Warning System:
- Members will be given 1 warning, take this as a serious check on your behavior.
- Members will be given a total of 3 warnings not including you're 1 warning.
- Each time a member or member(s) break any of the above rules will result in point deductions.
- Members who loose 2 points will be automatically suspended for 7 days (1 week). Consider that an even bigger behavior check.
- Members who loose all 3 points will be permanently banned and will no longer be welcome at Warez Legacy.
Administrators/Moderators:
- There decisions are final, respect them and there will be no problems. If you feel there has been a miss understanding, Private Message him or her and get it resolved that way.
